Bethany Appleby is a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department and chair of the Diversity Committee. Her practice focuses on franchise, commercial and utility litigation. She has represented clients in litigation and arbitration in numerous U.S. jurisdictions and before the International Court of Arbitration.
Bethany is included in Best Lawyers in America (2008 and 2009) for Franchise Law (for more about the standards for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America, please see http://www.bestlawyers.com/news/default.aspx ). Bethany graduated magna cum laude from Yale University in 1989 and received her J.D. with highest honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1997 where she was a Notes and Comments editor for the Connecticut Law Review. Before entering law school, Bethany had a financial planning practice and held the Certified Financial Planning designation.
