Dr. Todd Garabedian has extensive experience as an intellectual property attorney in a wide variety of disciplines related to the biological sciences, including chemistry, biochemistry, organic chemistry, pharmaceuticals, molecular biology, and materials science. His experience also extends to trademark and copyright issues.
Todd began his professional career as a research biochemist at the UCLA School of Medicine and thereafter at Washington State University where he worked in a variety of biological fields mainly centered around protein structure, function, and characterization. Before joining Wiggin and Dana, he worked as a Technology Specialist and thereafter as an associate at an intellectual property law firm in Boston advising clients in both industry and academia.
Todd is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He earned a B.S. degree in biochemistry from UCLA in 1985. He also earned an M.S. degree in biochemistry in 1988 and a Ph.D. in biochemistry in 1991, both from Washington State University. He earned his J.D. from New England School of Law in 1994.
