Diane M. Cooper

Biography

Diane is an Associate in the firm’s Corporate Department and Health Care Practice Group, where she advises mature and emerging growth companies on business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, affiliations, strategic alliances, financings, licensing, and collaboration arrangements, and on governance and general corporate matters. Diane works with a wide range of health care, life sciences, and biotechnology clients.

Before joining Wiggin and Dana, Diane interned with Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where she conducted patent research and prepared reports for in-house attorneys. She also worked in biomedical research for both the University of Michigan and Bristol-Myers Squibb Company.

She received her J.D. summa cum laude from Quinnipiac University School of Law, where she served as Vice President of the Quinnipiac Health Law Society and as Research and Symposium Editor at the Quinnipiac Law Review. She earned her B.S. magna cum laude in Biotechnology from Ferris State University.
