Robyn is an Associate in Wiggin and Dana's Litigation Department. Her litigation experience has involved a wide range of practice areas and clients, including, insurance, franchise, aviation, product liability, and education. She has experience litigating in state and federal courts and before various government agencies and arbitral bodies as well.
Robyn has litigated claims under the Connecticut Product Liability Act ("CPLA") and the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act ("CUTPA"), trademark infringement actions, breach of contract claims, and actions to enforce arbitration clauses. She has also advised clients on issues ranging from applicability of the state’s Freedom of Information Act, to ensuring that college application and financing documents comply with applicable state law.
Robyn has particular expertise representing insurance companies in connection with complex insurance and reinsurance matters. She regularly provides coverage advice for various types of insurance policies, including commercial general liability, automobile, and homeowner's policies. She has experience with interpleader actions filed in both state and federal courts.
Before joining the firm, Robyn was a senior accountant at Kosovsky, Pratesi & Company.
Robyn received her J.D. summa cum laude from Western New England College School of Law where she graduated first in her class, and was the Senior Articles Editor for the Western New England Law Review. Robyn received her M.S. in Accounting and her B.S in Business Administration magna cum laude from the University of Connecticut.
Robyn served as a law clerk for Chief Judge Alvin W. Thompson in the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.
