Yale New Haven Health System / Wiggin and Dana Diversity Scholar Program
The Yale New Haven Health System, in conjunction with Wiggin and Dana LLP, will offer a paid, eight-week summer 2019 opportunity for a law student who will have completed his or her first year in the spring of 2019. The student will spend the first four weeks of this summer opportunity at the New Haven office of Wiggin and Dana and the second four weeks working in the Yale New Haven Health System Legal and Risk Services Department. The position is intended to provide broad exposure to a wide variety of legal issues, including multiple aspects of health care law.

The Yale New Haven Health System / Wiggin and Dana Diversity Scholar Program is committed to promoting diversity in the health law profession. Students who are authorized to work in the US, and who will have completed their first year of law school by the summer of 2019, are encouraged to apply. Candidates should have a strong academic record, excellent writing skills, and an interest in learning about health care law.
