Wiggin and Dana Partner, Najia Khalid, will be presenting at a UConn Technology Incubation Program (TIP) Lunch & Learn titled, "Business Immigration 101 for Entrepreneurs and Startups: Building the Entity Records for Future Immigration Sponsorship," on April 9, 2019.

The presentation will cover business immigration law essentials for entrepreneurs and startups. Najia will provide an overview of business immigration and compliance  topics, including how to read, navigate, and evaluate financial documents, which are critical to various employment-based immigration cases. Building on her experience regularly counselling entrepreneurs and multinational organizations aspiring to open new entities in the U.S., Najia will also focus on the development of good business plans, a cornerstone for many employment-based visas, and highlight sources of funds and financing documents, all through a business immigration and compliance lens.
