Please join the Wiggin and Dana Women's Network for an engaging and informative discussion with Aliza Sherman, a web and social media pioneer and author of Power Tools for Women in Business: 10 Ways to Succeed in Life and Work.

We are busy professional women in an increasingly connected world. We are faced with social media, mobile apps, and content streams that demand our attention. Aliza's engaging presentation will answer many questions that women face as they build a smarter social presence online, including where we really need to be online and how to make and maintain connections effectively in an increasingly mobile society.

In addition, participants will learn about:

  • Best practices for engaging in social media
  • Valuable apps for our smartphones
  • Common sense advice for managing technology

Aliza has worked as a digital strategist since 1992, providing strategic digital marketing consulting to companies and nonprofit organizations, often with a focus on the women's technology and cause-related efforts. She has authored nine books, including Social Media Engagement for Dummies and Power Tools for Women in Business: 10 Ways to Succeed in Life and Work. She coined the term, "Social Media Marketing PLan," and has been named by Fast Company as one of the "Most Powerful Women in Techology."

We hope you will join us for some laughter and reflection and to become energized to put these ideas into practice.
