Event Description

With increasing frequency, companies are confronting the challenges posed by whistleblower complaints. While businesses in every industry are affected, government contractors and entities in the health care and financial services sectors are particularly vulnerable given the financial rewards offered under the False Claims and Dodd Frank Acts. Whistleblower complaints must be investigated with great care, and often much faster, and difficult decisions must be made concerning disclosures to the government.

Our Fall Roundtable Program will examine these issues, calling on the expertise of experienced in-house and outside counsel. The panel, moderated by Joseph Martini, Wiggin and Dana Partner and Chair of the firm's White Collar, Investigations and Corporate Compliance Practice Group, will also include:

  • Andrew Gaillard, Assistant General Counsel on the Global Investigations Team at Pfizer
  • Mary Gambardella, Chair of Wiggin and Dana's Labor, Employment & Benefits Practice
  • Maureen Weaver, Chair of Wiggin and Dana's Health Care Practice
