John P. Foley

Biography

John is an Associate in Wiggin and Dana’s Litigation Department with experience representing companies and individuals in complex matters such as commercial litigation and government investigations. 

John has assisted in the defense of companies involved in nationwide litigation, investigations, and complex arbitration proceedings, as well as individuals investigated and prosecuted for tax and healthcare fraud. He also has represented large insurers on insurance coverage issues, particularly commercial and marine insurance coverage. As a member of the White Collar Defense, Investigations, & Corporate Compliance Practice Group, John has defended clients involved in federal and state criminal investigations.

Before joining Wiggin and Dana, John was a practicing student attorney at Fordham Federal Litigation Clinic.

John earned his J.D. cum laude from Fordham University School of Law, and his B.A. magna cum laude in Political Science and Government and English Language Literature from the University of Rhode Island.
