LaMarte Williams, Jr.

Biography

LaMarte Williams, Jr. is an Associate in Wiggin and Dana’s Stamford office.

Before joining Wiggin and Dana, LaMarte was a judicial law clerk to Chief Judge Denise Page Hood of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Prior to that, LaMarte spent two summers working at Wiggin and Dana as a Summer Associate.

LaMarte received his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School, where he was a Notes Editor of the Notre Dame Journal of International and Comparative Law. He also worked with the University of Notre Dame Law School’s Economic Justice Clinic and assisted low-income individuals with their consumer law matters.

LaMarte received his B.A. in Government and Sociology with a minor in Business from Skidmore College. During his time at Skidmore College, he was a member of Student Government and was a recipient of the Responsible Citizenship Internship Award.
