September 26, 2017

New Haven – For the fourth consecutive year, Wiggin and Dana is proud to announce that it has received Connecticut Law Tribune's Litigation Department of the Year recognition. The department will be honored at an awards dinner on October 3, 2017 at the Bond Ballroom in Hartford, CT.

At nearly 70 litigators firm wide, Wiggin and Dana handles a variety of contested matters in courts across the country. Clients routinely herald the fact that Firm lawyers are "fabulous strategic thinkers," "exhibit extraordinary professionalism," come to matters with "high end calling cards," "are experienced trial lawyers," "punch way above their weight class" and the fact that Firm associates are among the very best in the United States.

"Our litigation department is comprised of excellent and dedicated lawyers. When we learned that we are being honored by the Connecticut Law Tribune once again we were and are exceedingly proud of the recognition," said James Glasser, Chair of the Litigation Department.

Paul Hughes, Wiggin and Dana Managing Partner, said, "We are extremely proud of what our Litigation Department has accomplished and what they do for our clients every day. This award is another indication of our attorneys' commitment to our clients' causes."

Wiggin and Dana attributes its success year-after-year to assembling a team of experienced litigators and trial lawyers who are completely devoted to their clients and championing their causes. The firm's success is also attributable to its associates who come from the best law schools and prestigious clerkships and who, from the outset, are given real and meaningful responsibility under close mentorship in an extremely collegial environment.
