Wiggin and Dana Attorneys Go Back to School!
Attorneys Participate in Junior Achievement Day at Local Elementary School
New Haven –Wiggin and Dana attorneys Steven Camerota, Abigail Cotterill, Daniel Goren, and Elisabeth Pimentel volunteered with Junior Achievement on April 25 at the Hill Central Music Academy in New Haven, to teach third and fourth graders.
The third and fourth graders learned about economics, finance, and business. Topics included the interrelatedness of local businesses with our community and the various types of capital, human, and natural resources that are employed in our local and global economy. Towards the end of the day, students participated in educational games that reinforced the information of each lesson.
"Local volunteers are an integral part of our program," said Pamela Katz, District Manager, Junior Achievement of Southwest New England. "We are thankful for Wiggin and Dana's lawyers volunteering in our program to provide students with a unique learning experience."
