New Haven – Wiggin and Dana attorneys Rebekeh Gulash, Armel Jacobs and Matthew Nettleton volunteered with Junior Achievement on April 24 at the Hill Central Music Academy in New Haven, to teach second and third grade students about economics, finance and business.

The students learned about civics, city planning, business planning, basic financial literacy and basic journalism concepts. They also participated in educational games that reinforced the key concepts they had learned in each lesson.

"Local volunteers are an integral part of our program," said Abby Ruiz, District Manager, Junior Achievement of Southwest New England. "We are thankful for Wiggin and Dana's participation in this program and for providing the students with a unique learning experience."
