Sarvesh Mahajan

Biography

Sarvesh is a member of the firm’s Outsourcing and Technology Practice Group. The group has been ranked nationally as a leading practice in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business.

Sarvesh helps clients negotiate and implement technology agreements and commercial agreements. He has developed expertise across all stages of IT and business process outsourcing transactions, allowing him to help clients structure or respond to RFPs, negotiate contracts, and manage and implement complex, global outsourcing arrangements. Sarvesh also has been recognized as a leading lawyer nationally for Outsourcing in Chambers USA, which notes, “Clients recommend Sarvesh Mahajan as ‘a very good counselor and adviser,’ offering praise for his ‘creative and open-minded’ approach.”

Prior to joining Wiggin and Dana, Sarvesh was counsel for a multinational information technology services company and a large public university providing higher education programs online. In these roles, he advised senior managers on commercial and intellectual property issues. Sarvesh was also an attorney-advisor in the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Sarvesh serves as the firm's Diversity Manager. He works with the firm’s Executive Committee and Diversity Committee to address issues that affect diversity and inclusion in firm operations, governance, and client service. Sarvesh is a member of the firm’s Diversity Committee and Hiring Committee. He is fluent in Hindi and is a member of the South Asian Bar Association, involved in the New York (SABANY) and Connecticut (SABAC) chapters.

Sarvesh received his J.D. from George Washington University, where he was a member of the Public Contract Law Journal. He earned a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
