Sean M. McAuliffe


Sean is a litigation Associate in the firm's New Haven office, where his responsibilities include working extensively with the Medical Malpractice group in all aspects of litigation. He has aided in trial preparation by drafting motions in limine and analyzing complex evidentiary issues. In addition, Sean has experience evaluating and analyzing potential liabilities and exposure for various clients. Prior to joining Wiggin and Dana as an Associate, Sean worked as a summer associate at the firm.

Sean received his J.D. cum laude from University of Notre Dame Law School, where he wrote for the Journal of College and University Law, was a member of the Showcase Team of the Moot Court Board, and won the A. Harold Weber Moot Court Award "for outstanding achievement in the art of oral advocacy." He received his B.A. in English and History from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Sean is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section and an active member of the New Haven community.
