2016 Cyber and Privacy Forum

Panels and Presentations will address:

IBM Watson Project and computer learning
Assessing risks and taking security precautions when dealing with vendors and other third parties
Current initiatives and future priorities at the State level and beyond

The morning will begin with a presentation and discussion featuring Craig Bedell, Global Insurance Industry Executive with IBM Watson, on machine learning, natural language processing and how companies across a wide variety of industries are using technology to analyze vast amounts of unstructured data.

The second segment will be a panel discussion on assessing your vulnerabilities when working with vendors, service providers, including cloud services, and other third parties and how to mitigate those risks.

Connecticut Governor Dannel P. Malloy is scheduled to speak on current initiatives concerning privacy and data security and what is coming next.
