Corporate associate for our New Haven or Stamford office. Qualified candidates will have four to six years of law firm experience drafting and negotiating complex transaction documents. Experience with M&A or other complex corporate transactions is crucial, and experience with securities law compliance and corporate governance matters is desired.
We are looking for someone who can work independently, utilizing resources to complete assignments accurately and efficiently. This position supports busy lawyers who are looking for strong administrative support. The ideal candidate works well under pressure, is able to prioritize assignments and will do what is necessary to get the job done. While legal experience is helpful, it is not a must. Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite along with an affinity for computer software is required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of experience in benefit and pension administration, good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Qualified candidates must have 5+ years of collections experience, preferably in a service organization and hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
