Sprxng, a next-generation developer of menstrual products founded by Phyllis Mugadza, developed the first reusable menstrual product that includes a therapy for menstrual pain.

Wiggin and Dana worked with Phyllis to trademark the name and logo for Sprxng and register a provisional patent for the product that Phyllis invented. She was able to register her company as a legal entity and to complete the intellectual property applications for her invention. This allowed Sprxng to be pitched at Yale’s biggest entrepreneurship competition, Startup Yale, and be awarded the Thorne Prize for Social Innovation in Health or Education, as well as the audience choice award.
