Rachel is an Associate in the firmโs Litigation Department. Rachel focuses her practice on franchise and commercial disputes. Rachel is also a member of the Medical Malpractice Defense Practice Group where she represents health care facilities and providers in cases alleging professional negligence, with a focus on defending claims of eye injuries and vision loss.
Rachelโs civil litigation experience includes drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending fact and expert depositions, and preparing cases for arbitration and trial.
Before joining Wiggin and Dana, Rachel was a legal intern in the U.S. Attorneyโs Office for the District of Connecticut and a Summer Associate at Wiggin and Dana.
Rachel earned her J.D. summa cum laude from Quinnipiac University School of Law, where she was a Publication Editor of the Quinnipiac Law Review. Rachel received six Distinguished Academic Achievement Awards as well as the Academic Excellence Award, Outstanding Legal Scholarship Award, Superior Classroom Performance Award, Service to the Law School Award, and the Cornelius W. Wickersham Jr. Award in Constitutional Law. During her first year, she received the Award for Excellence in Written Advocacy and the Award for Excellence in Oral Advocacy. While at Quinnipiac, Rachel was a member of the Public Interest Law Project. Rachel earned her B.S. summa cum laude in criminal justice from the University of New Haven.
