Partner Jody Erdfarb Quoted in RevCycleIntelligence Regarding Healthcare Compliance Post COVID-19

Partner Jody Erdfarb was quoted in RevCycleIntelligence regarding the COVID-19 public health emergency (PHE) declaration and the need for healthcare providers to start making preparations for a post-PHE world. While some of the COVID-19 waivers have been extended, many will expire. HHS Secretary Becerra has committed to giving states and the health care community 60 days’ notice before ending the PHE, but federal agencies are recommending that providers start preparing now. Jody emphasizes, “Healthcare practitioners should develop teams now within their organization to start . . . thinking through what they need to change and which policies need to be revisited so that they can be ready.”
