Wiggin and Dana Client Zurich Wins Case Against The Children’s Place Retail Chain

Partner Michael Menapace, Counsel Susan M. Kennedy, and Associate Katie Baiocchi, represented Zurich American Insurance Group in a lawsuit against retailer, The Children’s Place regarding alleged losses during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Law360 article, ” Zurich Beats Virus Suit From Children’s Place Retail Chain,” discusses claims made by The Children’s Place of property damages and losses for business interruption caused by the presence of the virus within 1000 feet of its location.
