On June 13, Partners Michael Clear and Erin Nicholls will present at the Connecticut Bar Association’s 2025 Connecticut Legal Conference titled “Hot Topics in Business Succession Planning”. They will discuss key trends and common challenges in transitioning closely held businesses, while addressing essential tax and legal considerations in the planning process. Their discussion will cover tax-efficient transfer strategies, buy-sell agreements, qualified small business stock approaches, asset protection, and family governance. They will highlight best practices, providing attorneys and other legal professionals with valuable insights to support business owners in achieving their objectives.
