Sponsored by the Muslim Law Students Association at Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University (formerly known as Pace University School of Law), a student group that she helped establish while in law school, Partner Najia S. Khalid will participate in “A Conversation with Muslim American Attorneys” on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, from 1:15-2:15 pm. Najia is one of three featured panelists and the virtual presentation will address religious identity and law practice, as well as career progression experiences of Muslim lawyers. The goal of this event is twofold:

1. To introduce Muslim law students to professionals working in three different areas of law.
2. To show Muslim law students that even though there aren’t many Muslims visible in a given law school, there are very successful attorneys who have embraced and highlighted their Muslim identities.
