ABA Connection – Responding To Electronic Crime
Mark Heaphy, an associate at Wiggin & Dana, will moderate this program. It will look at new forms of crime spawned by the growth of the Internet and electronic communications, and methods being developed to deal with them. Technology experts say the problem is very real and see a greater threat from ordinary criminals and pranksters than they do from cyber-terrorism. New laws to deal with these threats are working their way through Congress, and law enforcement agencies are gearing up their efforts.
