On March 26th, Partner Jody Erdfarb presented “What the HIPAA is Going On? An Ethical Look and Update on HIPAA” to the 2026 Medical Liability and Health Care Law Seminar.

She presented on how the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) creates significant challenges and ethical concerns for lawyers, beginning with publicity issues in medical malpractice cases and extending to an ethical analysis of HIPAA’s application in Medical Liability cases.
