On February 15, 2023, Partner Michael Kasdan will be a guest speaker on a roundtable co-hosted by Creative Media and moderated by their chairman, Peter Csathy. The panel includes Grammy Award-winning Musician Alex Ebert (lead singer for Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros), Don Allen Stevenson lll, Metaverse influencer and educator and Faith “Aya” Umoh, AI artist and data scientist. The roundtable will feature leading Artists, Creators and AI Experts as they tackle the fundamental questions related to AI and human creativity – including whether AI devalues human creative works by flooding the world with endless iterations of machine-made works, whether significant numbers of jobs in the entertainment industry and creative community will be lost because of it and what the positive impacts may be with AI and creativity. The panel also tackles how the courts and governments may place guardrails on it all, as well as the philosophical “human” impacts of AI “creativity.”
