CLE Webinar: Supreme Court Preview: Most Watched Cases of the October 2023 Term

On February 29, 2024, Wiggin and Dana will offer alumni a virtual CLE program on the Supreme Court’s most-watched cases of the current term.

This program will explore some of the term’s most interesting cases, including those covering whether agencies can bring enforcement actions before administrative law judges, if the Court will overrule the Chevron doctrine, whether non-consensual releases of third parties are permissible in bankruptcy, and whether states’ laws limiting social media companies’ content-regulation policies violate the First Amendment.

Cases Include:

  • Moody v. NetChoice and NetChoice v. Paxton
  • United States v. Rahimi
  • Jarkesy v. SEC
  • Relentless v. Department of Commerce and Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo
  • Harrington v. Purdue Pharma
  • FDA v. Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine
  • Moyle v. United States
  • Trump v. Anderson

This program is offered exclusively to Wiggin and Dana alumni who are seeking CLE credit. This program has been approved in accordance with the requirements of the NYCLE Board for a maximum of 1.0 CLE credit hours in Areas of Professional Practice and is appropriate for both newly admitted and experienced attorneys. Connecticut CLE will be based on instruction time.
