CMS New Civil Monetary Penalties for Home Care

Wiggin and Dana attorneys Michelle DeBarge, Maureen Weaver and Jody Erdfarb will present a webinar on “CMS New Civil Monetary Penalties for Home Care” for the Connecticut Association for Healthcare at Home. The webinar will describe the new alternative sanctions in place for home health agencies with deficiencies, including civil monetary penalties, suspension of payment for new admissions, directed in-service, directed plan of correction, and temporary management. Also, guidance will be provided on challenging federal deficiencies, including tips on navigating the new informal dispute resolution process.
