Current Trends & Challenges in Venture Capital Across the Globe
On May 10, 2024, Partner Evan Kipperman will participate in a panel discussion titled, “Current Trends & Challenges in Venture Capital Across the Globe” at the American Bar Association International Law Section’s Annual Conference in Washington, DC.
Evan and his co-panelists will address the desire to de-risk investments and impact on legal deal structures following Silicon Valley Bank’s failure. The panel will discuss the legal mechanisms dealing with such financing and valuation aspects, e.g. via down-rounds and recaps, as well as the impact on corporate governance of portfolio companies and thereby draw on experiences across various jurisdictions.
