On July 26, 2024, Partner Kate Cassidy will participate in a panel at ACI’s Women Leaders in Life Sciences Law Summit titled, “Harnessing Generative AI in Business Operations and Legal Practice: Optimizing Resources and Navigating Ethical Compliance Pitfalls.” Kate and her co-panelists, Selina Coleman, Partner at Reed Smith LLP and Lauren Misztal, General Counsel at SVP, will discuss how organizations have successfully integrated generative AI into their legal and business practices and review the ethical considerations of generative AI related to bias and accountability. Kate and her co-panelists will also examine how law firms and life sciences companies are using generative AI to advance legal research, contract drafting, patent analysis and more.
