On February 18, 2021, Partner David Ring was a panelist for the PLI program, “PLI’s Investing, Trading and Doing Deals in a Dynamic World 2021: Proactive, Reactive, and Oversight Strategies for Navigating the New Normal.” This webinar focused on the combination of the Covid 19 epidemic, geo-political tensions, divisive and unpredictable electoral politics, and technological acceleration and convergence and how it has dramatically impacted government policy, regulations, and enforcement activity regarding foreign investment, international trade and technology transfers, and data and supply chain security.

The approach was to engage attendees and participants in identifying and developing effective strategies. First, focusing on identifying key developments and analyzing their impact in a substantive policy and regulatory issues area. Secondly, focusing on describing the current state of expectations, best practices, and practical success strategies in a risks and requirements posture area.
