Partner Erika Amarante Installed as President of the CDLA
On June 10, 2020, Partner Erika Amarante was installed as President of the Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association (CDLA) during the organization’s annual spring meeting (held via Zoom). Erika has been an Officer of the CDLA since 2015 and before that served on its Board of Directors. Her term as President will last one year, until June 2021.
The CDLA has been in operation since 1991 and serves as a “voluntary, not-for-profit, statewide organization of civil defense attorneys.” The CDLA assists members in becoming better civil defense lawyers and promotes legal education, professional development, collegiality and networking for the civil defense bar. It also serves as “the voice of the civil defense bar to advance the fair administration of justice in civil litigation.”
