Partner Michael Kasdan Featured in Sporting News and CBC News’s Coverage Regarding the Knicks vs Raptors Trade Secret Misappropriation Lawsuit

On August 25, 2023, Partner Michael Kasdan authored a Twitter thread breaking down the Complaint in the NY Knicks unprecedented lawsuit against their NBA rival, Toronto Raptors. The lawsuit, which also names the Raptors new head coach as a defendant, alleges trade secret misappropriation and other claims based on allegations that Toronto hired a Knicks video and analytics employee who then provided the Raptors with Knicks-proprietary and highly confidential video analytics materials. Mike was interviewed and featured in The Sporting News and CBC News’s online coverage detailing the current case. He was also a guest on several sports industry podcasts discussing the case.
