Partner Paul Tuchmann and Associate Hannah Blonshteyn Author Article on Money Laundering in the Arts for the New York Law Journal
On April 1, 2024, an article authored by Partner Paul Tuchmann and Associate Hannah Blonshteyn titled “Money Laundering in the Arts” was published in the New York Law Journal.
In the article, Paul and Hannah discuss two new kinds of markets, the market for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and the secondary market for sports and entertainment event tickets, which have offered criminals new possibilities for money laundering. Paul and Hannah also highlight that these potential avenues for money laundering are not yet being addressed seriously by relevant legislators and regulators.
