Paul Tuchmann Featured in Bloomberg Article on Jerome Powell Investigation
On February 2, 2026, Partner Paul Tuchmann was featured in the Bloomberg article titled, “Trump Needs an Off-Ramp for Powell Feud to Speed Warsh Into Fed.”
Paul explains that unless the Department of Justice formally and explicitly closes the criminal investigation into Jerome Powell, there’s no real assurance that prosecutors won’t revisit it later. As he notes, “Unless you explicitly tell me that the criminal investigation is closed, it’s very hard to get that comfort that the prosecutor isn’t going to change their mind.”
