Wiggin and Dana Attorney Named to DRI Voice of the Defense Board of Directors
Wiggin and Dana is pleased to announce that attorney, Jim Craven, has been elected to the Defense Research Institute (DRI) – Voice of the Defense Bar Board of Directors as the Northeast Regional Director at DRI’s 2019 Annual Meeting in New Orleans.
During his three years on the board, Jim will be responsible for continuing DRI’s mission of assisting DRI’s 22,000 members create and maintain a level playing field in civil litigation, providing the highest quality CLE, and working to advance the interests of civil defense lawyers and their clients in courts throughout the country. He will also have specific responsibility to work with defense lawyers in the North East Region: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.
Jim becomes one of only a few Connecticut lawyers to ever hold this position in the long history of DRI and, as a result, continues Wiggin and Dana LLP’s longstanding commitment to the civil defense bar and bar leadership.
