Wiggin and Dana Partner Appointed Chair of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Professional Ethics
Wiggin and Dana partner, Kim Rinehart, has been appointed to serve as Chair of the Standing Committee on Professional Ethics for the Connecticut Bar Association, effective August 2019.
Kim Rinehart is a partner in Wiggin and Dana’s Litigation Department and Chair of the firm’s Class Action Defense Practice Group. Kim has been recognized by Super Lawyers in the category of Class Action & Mass Torts. The Connecticut Law Tribune named Kim a “Distinguished Leader” in 2018 and a “New Leader in the Law” in 2013. Kim is an active supporter of All Our Kin, a local nonprofit, which provides business, legal, and educational support to low-income family child care providers. Kim co-founded All Our Kin while in law school.
The Connecticut Bar Association, founded in 1875, is the preeminent organization for lawyers and the legal profession in Connecticut. With its 70+ sections and committees, the CBA produces over 400 programs each year, including the Connecticut Legal Conference. The CBA is a nonprofit member service organization dedicated to advancing the legal profession and the principles of law and justice.
