Wiggin and Dana Partner Named One of Fairfield County’s “40 Under Forty”
Wiggin and Dana’s Private Client Services Partner, Vanessa Maczko, has been recognized by the Fairfield County Business Journal as one of this year’s “40 Under Forty” award recipients. This honor is presented annually to 40 business professionals under the age of 40 who have achieved distinction as leaders in their respective fields.
In her fifteen years of practice, Attorney Maczko has represented high net-worth individuals and families on multi-generational transfers of assets. Her practice focuses on tax planning while keeping structures and systems manageable and practical for her clients.
Attorney Maczko advises clients on planning with a wide variety of assets, such as closely held business interests, marketable securities, art collections, real estate, tangible personal property and insurance policies. Attorney Maczko is also widely regarded as the go-to-resource for sophisticated planning with unique assets. Most recently she presented to the Estate Planning Council of Lower Fairfield County on issues facing client engaging in estate planning using digital assets, such as cryptocurrency and NFTs.
The “40 Under Forty” honorees, who have been selected for their “extraordinary leadership qualities, ongoing commitment to personal and professional development, and outstanding accomplishments that have made an impact” in their respective business sectors, will be recognized at an awards ceremony and reception on June 15, 2023.
