Wiggin and Dana LLP (“Wiggin”) served as US counsel to Swedencare AB (publ) (”Swedencare”), a listed company on NASDAQ First North Growth Market that specializes in pet healthcare, in connection with Swedencare’s $475 million acquisition of The Garmon Corporation d/b/a NaturVet, a California-based pet supplement manufacturer. The purchase price included $400 million in cash at closing, $47.5 million in Swedencare stock and $27.5 million subject to a conditional earn-out. 

Wiggin has advised Swedencare in connection with five acquisitions in the United States since June 2020. Advokatfirman Lindahl KB (“Lindahl”) serves as Swedish counsel to Swedencare. Lindahl and Wiggin are both members of the global legal network, TerraLex.

Advising Swedencare in the transaction were Corporate partners William Perrone and Andrew Ritter, Corporate counsel R.J.
