Wiggin and Dana Secures Dismissal of COVID-19 Business Interruption Lawsuit Against Iowa Casino Operator

Partner Michael Menapace, Counsel Susan M. Kennedy, and Associate Alundai J. Benjamin, represented Zurich American Insurance Company in a COVID-19 insurance coverage lawsuit brought by an Iowa casino operator. The Law360 article, “Iowa Casino Operator Dealt Loss Over COVID-19 Coverage,” discusses that the casino’s losses were economic, not physical, and therefore not covered by Zurich American Insurance Co.
