Wiggin and Dana Secures Dismissal With Prejudice for Computer Services Inc. in Patent Infringement Case
Wiggin and Dana successfully obtained a dismissal with prejudice on behalf of Computer Services Inc. (CSI) in a patent infringement case in the Western District of Texas. CSI, a provider of banking operations and transaction software, was one of over 80 defendants sued by a non-practicing entity, which had obtained settlements from virtually all other defendants.
CSI declined to settle, and Wiggin moved to dismiss the case. Judge Alan Albright granted the motion in full, concluding the matter and granting CSI all its requested relief.
CSI was represented by partner Pierre Yanney.
