Amanda Gutierrez

Associate

Amanda is an Associate in the Litigation Department.

Amanda earned her J.D. from Yale Law School, where she was the recipient of the Charles G. Albom prize for excellence in appellate advocacy. She earned her B.A. in Public Policy and Mathematics from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill from which she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with highest distinction.

Prior to joining Wiggin and Dana, Amanda was a law clerk to William K. Sessions III on the United States District Court for the District of Vermont and worked as a Policy Advisor at the National Ministry for Women, Gender and Diversity in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has also served as a consultant on human rights issues for multiple non-profits and government agencies, including Center for Legal and Social Studies, the International Legal Foundation and the Center for Migrants’ Rights, among others.
