Jessica Puterman is an Associate in Wiggin and Dana’s Litigation Department and a member of the firm’s Antitrust and Technology Disputes Practice Group.

Jessica represents plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts across the country in complex civil matters. She is particularly experienced in consumer protection, antitrust, shareholder, and government enforcement-related litigation, including matters involving state attorneys general. Admitted in both Connecticut and New York, Jessica has experience representing clients in significant matters pending before state and federal courts, including a high-profile Connecticut consumer protection matter and a nationwide antitrust litigation involving a leading New England real estate brokerage firm.

Prior to joining the firm, Jessica was an associate at a leading international law firm, where she represented and advised Fortune 500 companies in a range of complex litigation and regulatory matters. She also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Katharine H. Parker of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

In addition to her practice, Jessica serves on Wiggin and Dana’s Pro Bono Committee and Alumni Committee. In 2021, she received The Legal Aid Society’s Pro Bono Publico Award in recognition of her pro bono representation of incarcerated individuals seeking humanitarian release. She also serves on the New York City Bar Association Consumer Affairs Committee.

Jessica earned her J.D. from New York University School of Law, where she served as a Staff Editor and Digital Articles Editor for the Review of Law & Social Change. She received her B.A. in History from Brandeis University, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and Phi Alpha Theta. At Brandeis, she received the Eugene Black Prize for Excellence in History and the Raucher Prize for Excellence in Hebrew Language.
