Jianing is an Associate in Wiggin and Dana’s Corporate Department, based in the firm’s New York office.
She represents public and private companies, private equity sponsors, and their portfolio companies in a range of complex transactions. Her experience spans mergers, acquisitions, and company sales, including leveraged buyouts, add-ons, carve-out transactions, minority investments, and GP-led secondaries. Jianing also advises clients on corporate governance matters, including entity formation, governance frameworks, and the preparation of foundational agreements.
Her broader background includes legal externships focused on civil litigation, First Amendment, criminal defense, and civil rights matters. In addition to her legal experience, Jianing brings a strong business and strategic perspective, having worked in venture capital and at a fintech startup where she led marketing, business development, and operational initiatives. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English and has working proficiency in several additional languages, along with technical skills in digital media, analytics, and emerging technologies.
