Sean is an Associate in Wiggin and Dana’s Litigation Department, where he focuses on commercial, fiduciary, and intellectual property disputes.

Sean prosecutes and defends cases across the country on behalf of clients ranging from individuals to multinational companies. His experience spans all aspects of litigation, from pre-suit investigation to appeal, in New York and federal courts, as well as arbitration and mediation tribunals. 

Sean has helped deliver favorable results for clients in many high-stakes and highly-publicized matters. For example, he played an integral role in winning summary judgment for a world-renowned museum on copyright infringement and breach of contract claims; obtaining a preliminary injunction from the Commercial Division of the New York County Supreme Court in a business divorce litigation; and securing a unanimous reversal of an order granting a partial motion to dismiss in a commercial real estate action on behalf of a large hospitality company. 

Prior to joining Wiggin and Dana, Sean served as a law clerk to the Honorable Neil V. Wake of the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona and the Honorable Sara Darrow of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois. 

Sean earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he served as an Articles Editor on the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Constitutional Law. He earned his Bachelor of Science, summa cum laude, from Northeastern University.
