Selma first joined Wiggin and Dana as a Summer Associate in 2023, assisting with litigation and transactional matters. She also interned with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York’s Mediation Office, where she assisted with mediations to ensure the process was smooth for all parties.

Selma received her J.D., cum laude, with a Certificate in Business Law with distinction from Brooklyn Law School. During law school, she was the Executive Notes Editor of the Brooklyn Journal of International Law, a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Honor Society, and a member of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Team. Selma received her B.A., magna cum laude, in Legal Studies from American University as a Politics, Policy, and Law Scholar. She is fluent in Bosnian, Serbian, and Croatian.
