Will is an Associate in Wiggin and Dana’s Labor, Employment and Benefits Department, based in the firm’s New Haven office.

He advises employers on a wide range of workplace issues and partners with human resources teams to navigate compliance, employee relations, and policy development. His work includes supporting HR departments in addressing complex employment matters and implementing best practices to mitigate risk. Will also handles a variety of employment litigation matters, which often involve employment discrimination and wrongful termination, as well as the enforcement of restrictive covenants. In conjunction with his employment work, Will supports the firm’s business immigration practice by assisting employers in securing global talent across multiple non-immigrant and immigrant visa categories.

Will first joined Wiggin and Dana as a summer associate in 2024, where he conducted legal research and prepared memorandums for a variety of litigation matters.

Prior to joining Wiggin and Dana, Will served as a Law Clerk for Brown Sims, P.C., where he provided litigation support and drafted legal documents in complex Defense Base Act cases. As an evening law student, Will worked in human resource policy for the State of Connecticut, Department of Administrative Services (DAS). In this role, Will advised state agencies on a variety of policy matters impacting union and non-union employees, including compensation, benefits, and labor relations. Prior to state service, Will worked in human resources at Amazon, supporting the company’s fast-growing advertising division. Prior to that, Will supported YouTube’s talent acquisition efforts in North and South America.

Will received his J.D., with high honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law. In addition, he earned a certificate in Corporate & Regulatory Compliance and received CALI Awards in Civil Procedure I, Constitutional Law, Evidence, Antitrust, Compliance: The Legal Perspective, and Problems in Compliance. He also holds an MPA from the University of Connecticut School of Public Policy and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Connecticut.
