2024 Summary of Key Connecticut Legislation Relating to Providers of Services to the Elderly

September 12, 2024

Each year, Wiggin and Dana LLP and LeadingAge Connecticut collaborate to produce a comprehensive summary of new Connecticut laws affecting providers of services for the elderly. The 2024 Legislative Summary reports on a number of new legislative requirements affecting nursing homes, assisted living communities, residential care homes, home health care and hospice, homemaker companion agencies, senior housing and other home and community-based services, hospitals, and telehealth providers, as well as individual practitioners. Wiggin and Danaโ€™s Health Care Practice Group Partners, Maureen Weaver and Jody Erdfarb and Associates, Madiha Malik and Sarah Cherfan led the effort to publish this yearโ€™s Legislative Summary with support from Camera Elliott and Pratyusha Srikakulam. Special thanks to the authors, Wiggin and Danaโ€™s 2024 Summer Associates: William Butler, Kelli Ray Gibson, Andie King, Sobin Moon, Samantha Mortara, Alexandra Ostad, and Despina Topalis!
