2024 Summary of Key Connecticut Legislation Relating to Providers of Services to the Elderly

Each year, Wiggin and Dana LLP and LeadingAge Connecticut collaborate to produce a comprehensive summary of new Connecticut laws affecting providers of services for the elderly. The 2024 Legislative Summary reports on a number of new legislative requirements affecting nursing homes, assisted living communities, residential care homes, home health care and hospice, homemaker companion agencies, senior housing and other home and community-based services, hospitals, and telehealth providers, as well as individual practitioners. Wiggin and Dana’s Health Care Practice Group Partners, Maureen Weaver and Jody Erdfarb and Associates, Madiha Malik and Sarah Cherfan led the effort to publish this year’s Legislative Summary with support from Camera Elliott and Pratyusha Srikakulam.
