In the article, Jody discusses the importance of fully understanding and preparing for the sweeping updates to 42 C.F.R. (Part 2), especially as the February 16, 2026 compliance deadline approaches, to ensure that Part 2 programs, qualified service organizations, and all lawful holders of SUD records are aligned with the new consent, privacy, and enforcement requirements.
