Kate and Anjali discuss New York Times Co. v. Microsoft, No. 1:23-cv-11195 (S.D.N.Y), one of the strongest copyright case challenging generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) to date. Kate and Anjali summarize the unique features of this case that set it apart from the dozens of others that have been filed, breakdown and discuss the parties recently filed dispositive motions, and analyze what to expect with this case moving forward.
